ROTTEN THROW BURN

I am delighted to announce my work in Zero Station’s AMERICAN GROTESQUE, Portland, Maine, an exhibition in several installments. AMERICAN GROTESQUE opened on September 17th the day the patriots signed the Constitution in 1787 and ran through October 31, 2025. I showed 7 paintings from my POTUS8647 series and Drill Baby, Kill.

On November 7th, First Friday, Zero Station hosted ROTTEN THROW BURN, a HAPPENING where invited participants threw tomatoes at several of the POTU8647 pictures. Later in the evening, I selected one, Waah, Waah, and burned it. Video Chris Andrew documented the event.

On Wednesday November 13, 2025, Video Chris and I burned seveal more POTUS8647 paintings. These are now on view at Zero Station.

The end game will be framed remnants of POTUS8647 with a QR code attached to each painting revealing the edited video of the stages of this project ROTTEN THROW BURN.
